Keeping the roof looking good

Being a very recent Wind owner, and wanting to keep mine looking great for many years to come...I was wondering if anybody uses anything special on their roof to keep it looking good and a nice deep black....the forum seems to be an excellent source of good advise and wisdom

I’ve just used a basic non brand back to black trim restorer. There are quite a few brands available, but they all do similar job but for more money. Maybe it’s because I’ve used a ‘cheaper’ version has meant applying every few months or so. Although has kept the roof looking nice and dark. Also use it on the other black plastic areas like bottom of rear bumper.
Same cannot be said for the plastic that houses the rear central brake light. On my Wind it has faded and looks a patchy grey, especially as can see the difference compared to the roof.

Thanks for the reply, and the excellent suggestion...I'll definitely give it a go. I wonder if there's a way of keeping the information central brake light housing looking good as well ?

I saw my Wind in the half light the other day and the central brake light bit was distinctly a faded grey. I told myself it was patina!
