Hello from a new proud Wind owner
Collected my black 1.2 Dynamique S yesterday..absolutely fantastic, and awesome weather to match. This is the only car that I've owned that genuinely puts a smile on my face every time I drive it...had many admiring glances too...at the car, not me though...Hope you're all enjoying the open top weather, I'm fortunate enough to live on the coast near Dungeness, and it's sweltering here...feel sorry for all those non-convertible types.

Re: Hello from a new proud Wind owner
Hi Barbs....no, haven't seeen any that aren't local to my knowledge around the area, but great that you were here in August...hope the weather was good. My main reason was that my wife had a blue GT line back in 2011 which we bought in Ashford pre-registered from the Renault dealer...she kept it until 2014, before part ex-ing to a Peugeot 108 with a fabric folding roof(not quite the same). I always had the 'sensible' hatchbacks. I always regretted no longer having the Wind...so did some research, and convinced her that my 2014 Peugeot 308 in the driveway should make way for another Wind....her's being in the garage....so now I have my very own - fun to drive- car of choice.

Yes....a black one lives nearby, and has done for a couple of years, I wonder if you saw that one...although that one never seems to move much...pity.
Dungeness is indeed an amazing place to live..although in the winter the weather can seem rather extreme to say the least !!....I reckon a gathering of Winds would look awesome with the shingle backdrop, narrow guage railway, railway carriage cottages and nuclear power station

OldSeaDog - guessing you put the card on our windscreen introducing us to this Wind group, thank you. We do move our Wind and often come down to Dungeness for lunch but obviously when you don't notice us.
One day when you're passing please knock would be good to meet you and see your Wind. Ours is number 30 of a collection of 100.

Hi Wi Wurri many thanks for putting the card on our Wind and thus introducing us to this forum and FB group. Hope you had a good holiday and if ever you're down this way again, please knock.

Re: Hello from a new proud Wind owner
Hi Sea Breeze, excellent to hear from a fellow 'Marsh' wind owner...think that we have driven past your Wind many times if you reside on Coast Drive, next time we're close by we'll say hello...would be great to meet up at Dungeness sometime...although I doubt that mine is quite as special as your Collection model...mine being a black Dynamique S with tan seats and black alloys.
