Squeeky brake Empty Squeeky brake

Post by Mac1969 Wed 14 Aug 2019 - 19:54

Having a problem with a squeeky brake on my driver side rear of my wind. Local Renault specialist has had a look, cleaned it up after finding nothing but it still squeeks. Did read meganes are prone to something similar but anyone here had the same and got a possible suggestion (other than turn up the radio) ?

Thanks

Immediate reaction is pads: either worn ones; but if have been examined then all should be well; or recently fitted pads; have you had this done recently; which have yet to bed in properly.

Can also be caused by a small stone jammed in the caliper. Any sign on a score mark on the disc?

Is the car used regularly? Sometimes very low mileage cars have brake squeals when used.
