Hello from the Notts area
Hi all, thought I’d say hello.
I picked my Wind up on Sunday (if it’s ready), always wanted one and my Leaf’s PCP has ended.
I’ve gone for the 1.2 in blue, it’s they dymantique S model. Only done 30k, been well looked after and only a few bits of wear and tear. 1 previous owner, they are doing a full service and MOT for me, paid £4000 which I think seems decent.
Anyway hopefully will get to attend future events etc.

Hello and welcome not too far from me we are Doncaster if you are ever passing. Great choice of car 1.2 and BLUE.
Ask them to confirm in writing the cambelt has been changed. I know it low mileage but it needs doing at 6 years.

Hi Barbs, I saw on the service sheet which was done in 2016 that it said the cam belt needed doing, would like to think that this has been done and if it hasn’t then it will definitely show as need doing in the one they are doing.

How much is a cam belt change? I’ve already had people at work taking the mick for buying a hair dressers car

Hello and welcome.
How did you find the Leaf, and moreso, do you mind coming back to an Infernal combustion engine

Re: Hello from the Notts area
The leaf was really good and to be honest it wasn’t that much of an inconvenience, you couldn’t have one as the only car though. Mine was a 24kw model and on a full charge it would do around 95 miles in the summer but come winter that could easily drop to 75 miles and that’s on steady roads at around 50 mph. Last week we went to Sheffield from Mansfield and had to charge at IKEA or else we wouldn’t have got back or it would have been touch and go. I’ve emailed them to check about the cam belt. Will miss the leaf and the price difference between petrol and electricity but then won’t miss the range anxiety

They said that: The Cambelt looks ok but they can't tell if it has been changed.
