Having purchased my little beauty back in July(?) I enjoyed the novelty of being the only local owner in Leigh-on-sea. In the last month or so, 2 more have sprung up in nearby locations. So, were they always there, or did I start the trend. Also, there’s a strange mixed feeling of kindred spirits being nearby and that your individuality has been diluted somewhat. Anyone else feel this way when seeing similar specimens locally?

Yes Vell70, I know exactly what you mean....I admire the good taste of all the other Wind drivers that I see in their magnificent chariots....but somehow always wish that mine was the only uniquely rare car in the area.
Still....it also means that the local garages may become familiar with their little peculiarities !!

I know there are a few near me now but I rarely see them but there again with lockdown not out there to see them.

There was another Blue Wind in the Medway towns for a while. 

I spoke to the driver once in passing in a car park but he was in a hurry & all I gleaned was that it belonged to his wife. 

My next door neighbour used to wave at it in passing until he cottoned on to my personalised (the previous owner's) number plate & only waved at me.

I popped into our local Renault parts dept some time ago to pick up a new dipstick & saw it on their ramps. Indications were that it needed serious money spending.

I haven't seen in since.

Sad to see a Wind go but it is nice to be a one off on my patch!!
