Rear Speakers Empty Rear Speakers

Post by Johno.0 Sun 17 Nov 2019 - 16:15

Heard there’s an input for rear speakers just wondering where it is? I’m assuming on head unit but just wanted to make sure.

Thanks in advance for the help.

My technical expert thinks that they are some connectors on the head unit for rear loud speakers. Mark used these to connect to an amplifier for some speakers that were hidden behind the rear seats. The wiring is very difficult to get to as there is no slack on the connectors causing much frustration! Sheila.......

Curious as to why you'd need rear speakers in such a small cabin space.....?😁

Hi there! He thought the stereo in the Wind was not loud enough as when you turned up the volume it just got more distorted rather than louder.....

Good question.

As the top of the range model my MGTF160 had 6 speakers in a small cabin.

Hardly used them as the TF wasn't the quietest of car roof up or down!

Thank you all for the replies. My Mini Roadster is a much smaller cabin space, and that has rear speakers; I do think they make a difference.

I think the sound in the Renault is amongst the best I’ve heard. It’s on a level parring with my Mazda RF, in fact they sound almost exact.

I was told the Renault sound system was a Bose one so if that is true then it would make sense as my Mazda’s is as well.
