First really cold day of the Autumn. Time to check those cars ready for winter.

Re being ready for winter: Just how long do Wind batteries last?

Mine must be the original from 2011 & it's showing no signs of problems.

Or: am I pushing my luck by mentioning it!!

Few weeks ago  I had to have mine changed it was the original Battery, one dead cell and it caused the Alarm to go off the sensors were draining it. A good run would of sorted it for awhile but not worth the risk of it failing while on holiday.

What are these cars like to own through the winter?
I can imagine they can be a pain with windows sticking and doors when it gets icy?confused

I’ve used mine in winter and all been good. Had only one issue when snowed overnight so windows got frozen. Couldn’t open doors as they wouldn’t drop. Just a case of remembering to keep de-icer to hand indoors and not in boot.

By coincidence just had a Renault free Health Check which declared my battery to be in good order.
