Greasing your nuts
No not a double entendre, in the boot of the Winds there are some steel nuts in the gully where the rain water flows round the boot, just add a bit of grease to them and they wont rust and still look good when your showing off your boot space to other amazed people

Yep. good tip, been greasing them with silicon grease yearly, ever since I got the car.
At the same time I also do all the seals with silicon oil spray as well (spray into can lid and put on with rag, to saves chairs and trim getting hit). Keeps seals in good condition and hopefully weatherproof.
This 'greasing your nuts' tip was actually one of the first tips ever made in the old forum.
