Re: Black 'frames' in the front grill??
Having seen what a nice job pitstop has made of the grill frames - I'm going to have to come up with an idea of how to improve mine and the spot light surrounds ae well.
Can't do it in black or it'll just fade into one look - chrome would look great but unsure if that would be do able - any ideas?

Re: Black 'frames' in the front grill??
Thanks for favourable comments.
Job done with the same tin of brush on Halfords Matt Black that I originally used to do just the frames before I moved on to do the blue cross member that finishes off the full frontal effect. Put a second coat on the whole area today to; hopefully; make it more stone chip resistant.
Close inspection would reveal a few imperfections but for an everyday working car it looks pretty presentable.
Even my daughter; Orange Audi TTS; approves.

Re: Black 'frames' in the front grill??
Used basic Halfords "Matt Black". Small tin of brush on with blue colouring on the tin. Did use a good quality brush!
Can't find it on their web site now & their only similar offering is "Enamel Paint Matt Black" which comes in a silver tin & is probably their up to date version of what I used.

Paint on is OK for an everyday working car like mine but I'm sure you could do better.
