So many stories to tell about this meet. Meeting at Chatsworth House we had been allocated a parking area where we could all meet. 7 Winds met that day and in our designated parking area there were another bunch of car owners, about 50 classic Rileys turned up. They had obviously arranged things like this before, they knew how to park. Tea and cakes and general chit chat made it a lovely afternoon.

The 'Mexican Wave' took place in a Supermarket car park. Then a drive through Matlock Bath slowly, always a queue there but for once it was pleasant. Hearing comments from pedestrians oh what's that, ohh there's another one and another. Off for an evening meal.... The pub had said it would reserve us some parking and again perfect parking all in a line.

Lots of fun.

If I remember right the evening meal well all parked around a hot air balloon as owner said lovely weather, just need some wind lol, but yeah was a great day out, the chaos we had trying to do a semi circle and just as we got them in place a random car just Parks up in the middle of us no noticing what we was doing, what made it funnier was the car park was empty only us cars and could have parked anywhere but nooo had to park in middle of us lmao, but was a good fun day

Another memory of this day getting a message from Skippy around 11 pm to say he'd just got to his Hotel and it was closed not for evening but for good. Luckily he found somewhere.

we were settling into our Hotel and there was a cord next to the bed me being an idiot thought it was for the lights pulled it and nothing happened untill there was a knock on the door by the Manager.... Everything ok? You pulled the disabled panic cord. Since when do they put disabled rooms on the first floor. Did think why was there 2 basins in the bathroom one very low...... Assumed it was a family room.
